friday's chapel liturgy

Friends -- Via Kim, here is the confessional liturgy used at the CTS chapel eucharist last Friday and prepared by student, Adam Copeland.

Call to Confession:
Friends, the font is full.
Grace overflows.
The love of the triune God abounds.
Therefore, we are free to admit who we are: Sinners.
Let us confess our sin in the presence of God and of one another.....

Declaration of Forgiveness:
Friends, the font is full.
The waters flow.
Still, even now, God's love abounds.
Paul reminds us, "Do you not know
that all of us who have been baptized into Christ Jesus
were baptized into his death?
Therefore we have been buried with him by baptism into death,
so that, just as Christ was raised from the dead by the glory of God,
so we too might walk in newness of life."
Friends, believe the good news, in Jesus Christ, we are forgiven.
